HOW WE DO IT

WE KEEP A HOLISTIC APPROACH

We balance the body, mind, and soul needs by creating a blended curriculum delivered by guides or self-exploration.

This approach is reflected in our schedule.

LOGISTICAL SIMPLICITY

We give the kids the opportunity to learn in the comfort of their homes. No more stressful mornings to get to school on time and afternoon rush to pick kids up.

We believe in habits and therefore school running for a full year with four breaks, each about two weeks long. Click here for details. We also believe that family has the right to travel anytime and kids have a choice to study or not during that time. And when they come back to My E.School they will be OK, because they learn according to their own pace and not everybody else's.

The school happens on the computer from 8:40 AM to 2:45 PM with an optional cooking immersion program that runs till about 3:30 PM.

Kids are part of a virtual class of 16 kids.

(We do hope though that eventually kids will reside in the same community and get to spend afternoons playing together in a park and families create friendships.)

Learning happens during school time. There is no homework.

We might send you a quick snippet about something kids are learning/ discussing, and you might if you choose to, make it a part of a dinner conversation.

We ask you to have ready for your kids:

A computer with an internet connection

Headphones with a microphone
A printer

A kindle so kids could develop a 30'/ day reading habit
A Thermomix and other kitchen supplies (TBD) if you choose your kid to participate in a cooking immersion program. It is a rather large investment, but the goal is to teach kids to cook healthy and contribute to daily family life.

Occasional access to a telephone, if for example, the kid needs to interview someone.

A list of supplies needed for cooking, art, and other classes will be emailed one week in advance. We will provide Amazon links to make it a breeze for parents.
