ART GUIDE

Hello,

We are a start-up founded by a parent. We are looking for a unique type of elementary education and at the same time want to give the opportunity to low-income families (especially in COVID -19 times) to have easy access to the best teacher talent available. Therefore we are looking for a truly good match. Please apply if our guide description excites you and you are looking to grow with a progressive company for a minimum of 5 years.

 

We are looking for a passionate teacher guide that feels comfortable with managing 16 kids online for 2 days/week. We have openings for 2 candidates: 2/3 grade and 4/5 grade.  We would like you to design meetings in a way where kids would explore different art techniques and learn about famous artists. They also might reach out to you for a suggestion on the art aspect of their semester project. Our art guides will also provide an update to parents every month and attend a conference call every quarter. This is a part-time position that will require 2-4 hours of commitment a week.

Here are our requirements:

•  a superior academic record (GPA of 3.5 or higher)

• very strong professional recommendations

• at least 2 years of classroom experience

• very strong internet connection and professional home office set up 

•  we run whole year-round with about 4 two week breaks / TBD

• you need to be comfortable with us recording the classes and making them available to other students
